Shifts are submitted on our platform, listed as open to all qualified candidates or available only for your WerkForce. Once shifts are selected, all technicians receive an overview of the office and workflows to help get everyone a head start on patient schedules!

What are the qualifications of the WerkWeek technician team?
Great question! We ensure all technicians with access to the WerkWeek platform have minimum levels of experience within their chosen subspecialty. You won’t be working with “temp” workers or other unqualified staff. You’ll receive a profile for technician that selects your shift, including years of experience and certifications.
Is there a minimum number of shifts I need to post?
There are no minimum requirements to post shifts on WerkWeek. Whether you’re covering for PTO, maternity leave, an unexpected absence or seasonal patient volumes, there is no obligation to post open positions. WerkWeek is designed to help you manage your technician resources and proactively manage short-staffing scenarios in your clinics.
Is there a time limit for posting new shifts?
The WerkWeek platform is built to efficiently fill open shifts, whether they’re posted two weeks, two days or two hours before the shift begins. WerkWeek’s system is able to notify technicians when last minute shifts are posted, giving you the best chance for adequate resources to manage through urgent situations.
What is my clinic WerkForce?
WerkForce is our name for the pool of available technicians who have experience working in a particular office. WerkWeek coordinates with our physician partners to provide opportunities for technicians to learn the workflows, office layout, and physician preferences on days when volumes are moderate. Similar to a live training course. This helps designate a group of technicians who are fully prepared to fill shifts in the future. You can post shifts on WerkWeek as available for any pre-qualified technician or specified for your proprietary WerkForce.
How does WerkWeek prepare technicians that are not part of my WerkForce?
We recognize each clinic operates with different patient flows, physical layouts and medical record systems. We have qualified, experienced technicians to fill open shifts and review the workflow details before the first time in your office. Understanding the workflow and layout of the office ensures the team is prepared upon arrival at your clinic.
How do I post a shift?
It’s easy! Once you’re set up on the platform, you submit a simple form highlighting the location, rate and expected hours. The shift is posted on our system and we do the rest! We’ll let you know when a tech has picked up the shift and provide additional details before the shift starts.
Am I prevented from hiring any of WerkWeek’s technicians?
Absolutely not! We built WerkWeek to support our facility partners and help allocate technician resources where they’re most needed. We’re not here to compete! If you work with one of our technicians and would like to extend a full-time offer, we’d be thrilled to help solve that problem for you.
